CAR T treatments in Sweden
SWECARNET collects information direct from treating clinicians to map the use of CAR T in Sweden. The first CAR T to be manufactured in Sweden (and Europe) was in 2014 at Vecura, Stockholm, and was used for academic clinical trial in Uppsala. The first Standard of Care use of a commercial CAR T was in November 2019 at Karolinska University Hospital. There are now several treatment centres in Sweden and several products have been administered in clinical trial and/or standard of care.
